Comment: McAfee is one of the two American companies I know of. Norton is the other. About the software, great protection at a great price. Slow start up that I can deal with to know I'm protected.

Comment: It does not work well. It repeatedly comes out with an error message and asks to be re-installed. The re-instalation does not help.

Comment: It's the first antivirus product (I've used Kaskpersky, Panda, Avira, AVG and Norton) that updates only from monday to friday! Is it reasonable? Do McAfee think that worms and virus appear only on business days? Other con is that The firewall doesn't block all ports according to two different online tests.
Pros are that the product doesn't slow Windows Vista, is light on resources and has good virus/worms detection rate according to indepedent studies.
But the thing is that McAfee only updates once a day between 11am-3pm and that gives me the impression that I'm not properly protected...
